Meet the staff

Hi, I'm sure you know me by now but I am Roch, proprietor and chef of this fine establishment. I have been in the catering trade now for almost 16 years and have worked in many fine eateries and restaurants.

Prior to catering, I was a professional footballer, both in my own country and in England. Unfortunately, due to an accident, my professional career came to a sad end and I followed by next love...food!

I come from a long line of catering specialists. My mother and sister both run successful restaurants in my home country and my training in the trade started at a very young age!

During my years in the trade, I have experimented with produce from many cuisines and borrowed recipes from many continents. The results, I hope you will find, are some of the gastronomic delights that I have included in the menu.

I will now introduce you to some of my staff, all of whom are hand-picked and fine ladies....

Gillian has been with me since I opened the shop, a hard-working and friendly lass born and bred in the North East. Gillian has worked with me for many years prior to coming here with me and also has extensive experience in the catering trade.

Rose joined us on opening. Another born and bred Northerner, Rose has spent many years taking care of her fine family.

Gill has previously owned her own catering business but decided to join our little team as well as running her own jewellery business part time, so if you need ear-rings for your next party, your sorted!
